Q How is this a free service?

A We are paid a fee from the apartment community's advertising budget. Apartment communities budget for apartment locator services just like any other advertising expenses. Communities actually prefer using a locator service over other forms of advertising because we are only paid when we fill their vacant apartment. Not only does our service not cost you anything, but you will still receive all the move-in specials and discounted rental rates the property is offering when you use our service to find your next apartment.

Q If I use your service will it affect the move-in specials the apartment community is offering?

A No. You will still receive all of the move-in specials and discounts the property is offering everyone. Plus you will receive a reward from us.

Q How do you pay me a reward I use your service?

A Your reward is paid from the referral fee we receive from the apartment community that you move into.

Q What do I need to do to get my reward?

A Simply find your new apartment, loft, or town home through our website or leasing specialist. Then list Apartment Agents and your agent's name as the referring source on guest cards when you arrive at the communities and on your rental application when applying for your new apartment. Q Do I qualify for a reward if I'm moving within the same apartment community or transferring to another property?

A No. We are not compensated when you renew your lease at your current apartment community or transfer your lease within the same management company; therefore we cannot offer you a reward.

Q When should I report my lease to my agent?

A After you have turned in your application and leave any deposits with the apartment community to hold the apartment. Your agent will then get your lease confirmed with the apartment community as quickly as possible. As soon as your lease is confirmed we can schedule your reward. Most apartment communities do not notify us when you lease, and it is your responsibility to let your agent know where you leased at so we can get the confirmation process started as quickly as possible.

Q How long does it take for me to receive my check?

A It generally takes the 6-12 weeks to receive your cash back reward. You will receive a check as soon as our invoice is paid by the apartment community.

Q How often is your searchable database updated?

A We have a team of people who call the properties and update our listings daily. Most properties are updated every 12-14 days. You will see the date that the property was last updated in the results for the property listing.

Q Should I verify pricing and availability before I go out to view the community?

A Yes. Pricing and specials are subject to change at any time and do change frequently. You should call to verify pricing and availability before you go out to view the apartment community or have your agent call for you.
